From Bootlegger Artist Scott Engel
The Bootlegger Royal has been a staple in my sonic arsonal for 2 years now and I’ve really given it a workout. The Royal is not just a pretty face. It has the high quality components to back it up. Grover tuners, precision locking tremolo and excellent electronics.
The Royal has held up to my heavy touring schedule. The Royal is able to withstand my nightly whammy bar abuse and was able to stay in tune through all playing conditions. From MetLife Stadium at 34 degrees to a hot 100 degree Jersey Shore afternoon, The Royal has worked perfectly.
Then there are the tonal possibilities. I can cover metal with the hot humbucker to funky blues by utilizing the pull knob to tap those humbuckers into single coils. Combine that with the solid 5 way switch, and the tonal selections are nearly endless.
The Royal gets all kinds of compliments, but one stands out. First live gig I used the Royal, the sound guy came up to me after the gig and was asking about it. The other guitar player in the band was playing an expensive well known guitar brand.
“The Sound Man”
The sound man said, the Royal sounded amazing, and that our other guitar player should sell his pricey iconic guitar and get a Bootlegger. So that brings me to value. The Bootlegger Royal comes with a deluxe hard shell case. Not some cardboard box with a hinge. a real high quality case that would easily cost a few hundred bucks just for the case.
For the cost of an entry level famous brand, you can own a Bootlegger, case included. You could be the same as everyone else, or you can get a Bootlegger and stand out. The Royal turns heads and excites ears.
Ask yourself, when’s the last time anyone told you how cool your guitar looked or more importantly, how great it sounded? Well, it happens to me all the time. So why not join the Bootlegger family like I did. You’ll be glad you did!
Sincerely,
